Evening gown in hand-dyed silk charmeuse and satin-faced silk chiffon, with hand beading and applied trim, built on a boned foundation.
This gown is based on research into the influence of social reformers and the Aesthetic movement on fashions of the early twentieth century. It is a theatrical reproduction of a gown documented by Nancy Bradfield in Costume in Detail: 1730-1930. |
